Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI), is a family-centred, capacity-building, Early Childhood Approach, designed to support young children with developmental delays, disabilities, or emerging differences during their foundational years.
As a Key Worker, I provide one consistent, trusted point of contact for your family, so support feels coordinated, calm and manageable rather than overwhelming.
This service is available through:
- NDIS (Self-Managed and Plan-Managed participants)
- Private support for families seeking NDIS access (until funding is approved)
- Privately funded arrangements
What Is the Key Worker Model?
The Key Worker model focuses on supporting the child within their everyday environments: home, early learning, school and community, while building the confidence and capability of the adults around them.
Rather than replacing therapists or educators, I:
- Collaborate with parents and carers
- Liaise with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, other allied health professionals and educators
- Support implementation of therapy strategies in daily routines
- Align supports with NDIS goals
- Help ensure consistency across home and learning environments
The focus is capacity-building, meaning parents, caregivers and educators feel confident supporting the child’s development between sessions.
Areas of Support
I specialise in supporting children who experience:
- Anxiety
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Communication differences
- Social development challenges
- Fine motor difficulties
- Difficulty with transitions
- Autism and/or ADHD (diagnosed or emerging traits)
- School readiness and independence building
My work recognises that many children are navigating environments designed for neurotypical brains. They deserve support that honours who they are, while building the skills and confidence to thrive.
How Support Is Delivered
Support is tailored to your child’s goals and may include:
- Strength-based, relationship-focused, child-led sessions
- Emotional regulation and nervous system support
- Communication and social skill development
- Parent coaching and practical guidance
- Routine and transition planning
- Collaboration with educators and early learning services (with approval)
- Preparation for NDIS plan reviews and progress reporting
Session Structure
Standard sessions are structured as:
- 45 minutes direct child support
- 15 minutes documentation, planning and parent follow-up
Home visits, school visits and parent sessions may range from 30–90 minutes depending on goals.
My Approach
My approach is calm, relational and nervous-system aware.
I bring a background in education and developmental understanding, combined with a holistic lens that considers the child’s emotional world, environment and individual pace of growth.
Key Work is not about “fixing” a child.
It is about creating the conditions for safety, confidence and sustainable development.
When adults feel supported and empowered, children thrive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood & Primary)
- NSW Teacher Accreditation
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance
I have been supporting children and families across educational and 1:1 settings since 2015, including previous Key Worker experience in Melbourne.
Fees, Funding & Location
NDIS Early Childhood Intervention Rate:
$193.99 per hour (as set by the NDIS Pricing Arrangements)
Services covered under this rate are outlined in the Service Agreement provided prior to commencement.
Privately funded services are available upon request.
